How can you get involved?
We relaunched the Wallace High School Council under the new name of the Parent Teacher Network (PTN) in September 2012 with the main aim of improving and facilitating communications between the School and parents/carers.
To assist us in this aim we have created this dedicated PTN section on the School Website - we aim to use this page to keep parents/carers up-to-date on PTN events and meetings, events in the School and to provide information to parents on any issues affecting our children. You will be able to follow the School and the PTN through Facebook and Twitter. We aim to be present and assist at School events and also hold events of our own including specifically targeted fundraising events. You can find out the timetable of our meetings and events by looking at the relevant sections of this site.
2015 Winter Ceilidh - Fundraising Update
The PTN organised a family Winter Ceilidh in support of Wallace High School Young Carer Group's Ocean Youth Trust tall ships trip 2016. The sell-out event held on Friday, 20 November 2015 at Wallace High School kicked off with our very own Blyth Walker on the bagpipes. The amazing Reelin' Ceilidh band provided the music for the remainder of the evening following some fantastic dance performances by our young people from the School of Dance. A few stalls and luxury raffle were also available on the night not to mention the stovies, tea/coffee which went down a treat too!
The fabulous sum of £2,000 was raised for our cause! Thank you to everyone who supported this event making it such a success. We couldn't have done it without you!
